PERSPECTIVE
PERSPECTIVE
I have been taken aback in regards to different perspectives
of racism.
Some people believe when black people are pro black; it’s a stand
on being black and having hate for the white man, when actually, it’s totally
the opposite. See, for centuries the black man’s life has never mattered, and
now that there is a movement called #BLACKLIVESMATTER- some media outlets are
making an attempt to paint this movement as a hate group.
ATTENTION: you can be a part of this movement without being
racist. This is about wanting to be seen as an equal, not about dominance
The bigger, the darker the black man, the bigger the fear. ~Norm Stamper~
The fear is a mask, this is by no means about fear, this is about
knowing the real power of a black man can change perspective of what life is
all about. Discrimination is all too
real, it may not ever go away, and we just have to continue to knock the doors
down that they want to keep closed.
Yes, all lives matter, but because the lives of black men
are being taking at a higher rate it becomes important to be expressive in the
light of these lives that needs guidance.

Is it just me or has history continued to repeat itself?
In the 70’s we had TV shows like Good Times where these
episodes hardly ever ended good. Even back then the biggest issues were
politics and lack of jobs. Very seldom were we treated with something positive.
On the flip side of the coin the show The Jeffersons were
about a successful black man that was labeled as racist, but he was merely an
angry black man that proved through his anger that he had to jump through lots
of hoops to become a great businessman.
Today what do we have? Different shows, but the same ole
story. Being exploited in reality shows, and continuing to prove to the world
that we would do anything for 15 minutes of fame.
Also the poverty line has been imploded into a larger realm.
It really is more poor folk (Yes I said folk)
then there are rich.
